I have almost same problem, Whenever I attempt to become a vampire lord by using the power, I'll get the animation of changing, and then almost immediately after the little flesh explosion occurs, the changing animation freezes (not the game) and i'm stuck like that (sill in human form)įrom the mod list you gave i also have CBBE v3, vurst flora overhaul and Apachiiskyhair. The only things I could think of conflicting would be the race im using, and I suppose path of shadows, since I don't really have any idea of the extent of that mod. And once the Dawnguard questline is over, you can return to being a Vampire Lord anytime you want by having Serana turn you. You can cure yourself by doing the quest 'Rising At Dawn' in Morthal (the same way as curing regular vampirism).

The odd thing is, the first time I played this part, it worked fine. And once you become a Vampire Lord, you can no longer do any of the Dawnguard's quests. During the quest Bloodline, the decision between whether continuing to assist the Dawnguard or join Harkon and the Volkihar Clan arises. After searching for half an hour, I have finally found someone who has the exact same problem as me.
